But more than anything, we’ve discovered the power of asking for help and the value of creating a mental wellness toolbox—our life rafts that have guided us through the most challenging seasons. We’ve felt the sting of shame, the weight of loneliness, and the frustration of failed support systems. These experiences are what led to the birth of Yes To You Moves.
Our journey taught us that real progress happens when we do the work outside the therapy room. Movement in internal work is crucial to processing our experiences, healing, and growing. Sustainable practices, habits, and tools are the key to leading happier and healthier lives. The praise and affirmation we’ve received from mental health professionals for our growth are badges of honor for us, but we know that this journey isn’t just ours—others may feel just as stuck, whether they are in therapy or not.
We understand that you don’t have to remain stuck. When you actively use the tools that work best for you, embrace practices that serve your well-being, and surround yourself with a caring support system, change happens. Progress happens. We believe in the power of saying “yes” to yourself and understand that sometimes, you need support to do that.
