At Yes To You Moves, we don’t just talk about wellness—we help you practice it, every day.
Our guided journals, workshops, and supportive community are created with Black and Brown communities at the center—and open to all who are ready to heal, grow, and move with intention.
Yes To You Moves offers culturally grounded mental wellness tools, a guided journal, and community support—designed with Black and Brown communities in mind, and open to all.
We create culturally relevant mental wellness tools that meet you where you are—whether you're in therapy, waiting to begin, or walking your own path to self-care. We center the wellness journeys of Black and Brown communities—while welcoming all who are ready to say yes to their healing. Our tools, community, and programs help you move from surviving to thriving with intention, reflection, and support that gets it. Tools. Community. Accountability. Movement.
Co-Founder, Purposeful Promise | Chief Empowerment Guide & Wellness Architect, Yes To You Moves
Hey, I’m Lisa Custis.
Wife, mom of three, and your Chief Empowerment Guide at Yes To You Moves.
I help Black and Brown communities—and anyone who resonates with our approach—say yes to themselves through culturally responsive wellness tools, journaling, and sustainable self-care. I’m also the author of the Yes To You guided journal, a self check-in resource designed to help you build your personal wellness toolbox, one intentional move at a time.
A culturally grounded community designed to help you heal, grow & thrive—outside the therapy room.
Our three-tier membership system gives you flexible, practical options each crafted to meet you exactly where you are—whether you’re just starting to explore wellness or ready for focused, personalized support. Every tier is built with real-life strategy, structure, and community support to help you stay in motion.
Yes To You Moves was born out of lived experience—a need for healing that felt honest, grounded, and culturally aligned. We’re a wellness brand and accountability community created for those navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, and everyday stress while still showing up for their families, careers, and communities.
We know what it’s like to need mental health support and not see yourself reflected in the resources available. That’s why we’re on a mission to close the gap with culturally responsive wellness tools—from guided journals and self-care planners to virtual workshops and support circles. Everything we create is designed to help you build your mental wellness toolbox and reclaim your joy.
Whether you're in therapy, thinking about it, or doing the work in your own way, you deserve real tools, real talk, and real community. When you say yes to yourself, you say yes to healing, growth, and generational change.
We’re here for the ones doing the work inside and outside of therapy—because your healing deserves support that’s real, relevant, and rooted in you.
The Silence:
Mental health stigma still keeps too many people—especially in our communities—quiet. Shame, fear, and unrealistic expectations make it hard to ask for help. We’re here to shift that narrative.
The Barriers:
Long waitlists. High costs. A lack of culturally aware care. Accessing mental wellness shouldn't be this hard—and we’re changing that.
The Gaps Between Sessions:
Therapy is powerful, but what about the days in between? When life hits fast, you need tools that show up when your therapist can’t.
The Misinformation:
So many people don’t realize the power of self-guided healing—like journaling, breathwork, and mindset work—outside the therapy room.
The Disconnect:
When your care isn’t culturally responsive, it can feel disconnected. Healing should reflect your truth, not ignore it.
Break the Stigma
We normalize mental health conversations—and offer real tools that meet you with compassion, not judgment.
Tools That Meet You Where You Are
From our self-guided Yes To You journal to digital wellness routines, our resources make healing accessible—even without therapy.
Daily Wellness Practices
We teach practical ways to live your healing: mindset shifts, goal-setting, routines, journaling, and emotional check-ins.
Community & Accountability
Healing happens in connection. Our wellness groups, workshops, and personalized check-ins help you feel seen and supported.
Culturally Responsive & Trauma-Informed
Everything we do is rooted in the lived experiences of Black and Brown communities—while welcoming all who resonate with our work. Because your wellness deserves care that reflects your reality.
Because when we show up for ourselves, we ripple that healing into our families, our communities, and the futures we’re shaping—together.
